How did I get here???
He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.
On Wednesday February 4th, 1998 I took a customer service call for EVI audio and that began a friendship that bloomed to love and eventually marriage. Peter called me almost daily on that 800 number and we shared a friendship and our lives, likes and dislikes our unguarded history which I believe you tend to loose in person because you are each trying to be something you are not. We never knew what it would lead to...we were two states away from each other and dating other people. We were friends that connected on a cerebral level, we were honest and there was a God Blessed connection and we were smart enough to both see it, guard it and nurture it. He faithfully waited for me and eventually professed his love for me and asked me to move to Tennessee and marry him. Granted it took him 26 months to talk me into it, but as he wrote in a song to me "Come on baby don't you wanna come and get it, don't mess it up cause you never will forget it. Delightful fun, we've come to share...through the phone line, now we're almost there. And like the angels do, our love will fly and break on through ". Peter and I never met in person the entire time until one week before I moved to Tennessee. That was trust in God on our part to put our faith first and know that He brought us togther and our union was blessed.

Wedding Day
What a beautiful day made especially by God for Peter and I. After 20 straight days of rain God cleared the sky for our wedding and reception as it was all outside. Then as we entered our bridal suite later that evening after all the festivities, it began to rain again and continued for several more days. How could I have ever known that beautiful Sunday in May of 2001 that I would only have 2,783 more days with you. They were all wonderful days and I thank Papa God for every one of them.

In the early evening of Friday January 2nd, 2009 my beloved Peter suffered a massive brainstem stroke. My darling husband never regained consciousness and was officially categorized with no brain function as of 6:00 p.m. on Saturday January 3rd, 2009. Peter being a loving soul who walked closely with his Father or as Peter and I had come to call God, "Papa". Was promoted home. My husband was ready for his walk with the the King. He had been preparing his life daily, walking and talking with Papa. I know he left such a void to so many and will be truly missed. I will grieve for my loss and rejoice for his victory. Peter was a donor and what we found out was that this wonderful man had a very unique blood type of A1B. This made his donations much more wonderful as there are only 1-3% of the population that have this type of blood. I was with him as they checked out his heart, lungs, liver, and such and I watched as they showed me what a beautiful strong heart he had. A lot of times when someone has had a stroke and survive they loose a lot of their motor functions and I know our Papa was so merciful that he knew that with as much brain function that was lost he would just call him home instead of leaving him here without the ability to do what he was meant to do. That is to praise and worship our Lord.
Check out what my husband did best...Praise and worship.
Peter wrote me lots of beautiful, sweet and sexy love songs...but his best achievement was the praise and worship songs he wrote for Papa God. Click on the picture and it will take you to the site to see him perform the song that was sang at his funeral and what I feel was his all time best work. Watch him as he sings to his Savior and see that personal relationship show on his face. I seen that up close everyday as he awoke and went to spend time with Papa first thing, singing and praising and fasting to prepare himself daily to live in this fallen, broken world.
